Thanks for visiting the Capital City Pipes, Drums, and Highland Dancers site.  We're updating the site to make it more friendly for guests and to enable some features for our members.  Please check out our calendar for upcoming events.  On the site, you can find information on:

We are Volunteers

The members of the pipe band are volunteers.  They vary in age and experience significantly, but are all united in their passion for pipes and drums.  The motivation for joining a Pipe and Drum band can vary widely.  You might be a serious musician looking to compete against others.  You might just be interested in the camaraderie of the group.  Or, perhaps you enjoy the performance and entertainment opportunities.  Whatever the reason, being in a pipe and drum band is an activity that can be with you for your entire life.  So, consider the interest that brought you to our site.  Perhaps it's time you chose to become a volunteer!

The band welcomes new volunteers.  We offer group lessons in both piping and drumming.  We can also offer private lessons for the more serious student.  Come out to one of our performances or practices to find out how you can become a Capital City member.
