Who
We Are

Celebrating the Spirit of Scotland in Central Ohio

Capital City Pipes & Drums and Highland Dancers is Central Ohio’s premier Scottish-style bagpipe, drum, and Highland dance organization. For more than 60 years, our dedicated members have shared their passion for Highland music, Scottish culture, and dance with audiences across Ohio and beyond.

Founded in 1963, we are a volunteer-driven ensemble that performs at festivals, parades, cultural celebrations, and competitions throughout the Midwest. In addition to performing, we are committed to education and community involvement. We offer lessons for bagpipers, drummers, and dancers of all ages and experience levels, helping the next generation carry these traditions forward.

Whether you’re interested in the music, the movement, or the heritage, we invite you to join us – as a performer, student, or supporter – and be part of a proud Scottish tradition right here in Central Ohio.
